Toon town is a great place to provide your toddler with some free play time. This ride is one of the best in the park for toddlers. Start your day early and enjoy a less crowded park prior to lunch time. Ignore them. Everyone (adults and children) will then stand in line together. Your days ticket will cover every land. or does a rider have to be able to sit independently? We had great fun doing this, and the leader has banter similar to the Jungle Cruise however I would not recommend doing with a toddler.
California Adventure has all of the Frozen Fun. We will be back the first week of June and I am so excited. I dont see any .pdfs. While California is known for its great weather, there are times it gets chilly and if you are taking your toddler to the evening Parade it can get chilly for them so be sure to have plenty of layers for them. Thank you! There are lots of rides they can ride and it is overall one of the best ages to go to Disney in my opinion. The ride doesnt have any height restrictions however could be scary for toddlers for the dark ride element. For example on Indiana Jones, that we both want to ride, how do you determine if youll use Rider Switch with MaxPass or attempt Single Rider with Rider Switch (possible?)? Cross off everything you arent interested in doing and then keep moving through DCA. Some attractions will allow you to get a rider swap pass upon entering the line, negating the task of standing in line. Each attraction seems to vary a bit. What to do?
If you get a blue pass, arrive an hour early and get the best spot possible on the bridge. This was actually one of my sons and daughters favourites when they rode at toddlers. This is actually one of our favourite rides at Disneyland for toddlers because it has a lightening lane and doesnt usually have a long queue early in the day.
We last visited in 2013 (my first time ever) with my then 4 year old. The crowds are heaviest from around 2-5pm, so take a break and spend some time at your hotel. Ive detailed many options and have included some tips on outfitting your princess, too, in my Disneyland for Princesses post. We dont have hoppper passes. Even better there is absolutely no scare factor in this ride. I would choose a 2 day hopper. After Peter Pan, Jungle Cruise is the ride that gets the longest queue that toddlers can ride. They provide a great seat for parades, too! If it does, I would just wait to ride until later. The last of the dark rides in Fantasyland and the one my son found least scary. It is gentle and endearing and both my children have adored this boat ride that takes you round the landscapes from your favourite Disney films. Also, we were thinking of doing BBB on day 1 or 2. For example, for Indiana Jones, only have one of you select this FASTPASS. My advice is to book your tickets as soon as you start the Disneyland vacation planning process. I also recommend bringing these even if you havepotty trained your toddler. Just want to run our itinerary by you to see if you think we have the right parks/activities on the right days. Snacks are expensive at Disney and there is nothing worse than a Hangry toddler in a queue. We live in FL, and were well acquainted with WDW.

Head to Fantasyland first as this is where you will find most of the toddler friendly rides and you will get on a lot quickly. that wont happen with our baby until later in the year. I cant stress enough how important having a stroller is for everyone involved. but am super stressed about disneyland with a baby.
Living so close, We know we will eventually do both parks, but are only going to do one for right now. They, too, have lots ofadvantages including location, possible free parking and some have free breakfast, too. Disneyland can be an overwhelming place for toddlers especially at nap times. You can do plenty with a baby at the parks including enjoying attractions together like Dumbo and Pirates, etc. Of all the lands in Disneyland, Frontierland is doesnt have lots of rides for toddlers. I have a 5 year old and almost 3 year old. That will allow you and your husband to essentially double up on FASTPASSES during both days. Again no lightening lane but the good thing about this ride is that the queue for it rarely goes above 25 minutes. We had DL passes a few years ago when we had 4 big kids who were all at least 40 and could go on almost anything. Most closures are planned well in advance, so you can let toddlers know ahead of time what they might miss out on (or just avoid that area of the park all together). Let little ones nap, take a shower or have a snack.and return refreshed and ready for an evening of fun. This is such an amazing site.

Haunted Mansion There are plenty of toddler friendly rides at Disneyland however just because they have no rides doesnt necessarily mean they are suitable for your toddler, especially if you little one is sensitive. This is another dark ride which of course has the potential to be scary due to the darkness along but has added scary themes. There are so many ticket options out there for Disneyland California and California Adventure with toddlers but the main thing you need to decide is whether you want to visit one park or two. We found we met or last saw characters impromptu in the following places; At some of the counter service restaurants at Disneyland they offer toddler power packs. There are three onsite hotels at Disneyland California. Since Single Rider lines are unpredictable, I havent included them in my suggestions for you. You save me a lot of time of researching! While walking through that list, stop for family friendly attractions like Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.
If you can budget it, I would commit two days and explore both parks. Saying that if you have older siblings or are planning on using the rider swap on grown up rides then it is absolutely worthwhile. She wont be with us this time, but my aunty will be, but she is also into riding rides.
