You seemed to have a great distribution of rolos in yous. caramel Ive had a look through your brownie recipes and note the dates on some are 2018- is this your most up to date go to brownie recipe to follow? Or, you can add a bit of salt to the caramel to make it less sweet! I cut mine into 16/25 pieces as the recipe states and never have an issue ? Im wanting to bake them next in a 12 x 9 tin, which is about 1.5 deep ( so slightly less deep than the original tin) Should I scale up the recipe or do you think the same would work for this tin size? It likely is just the mixing process that caused it to need longer, but it will have baked eventually if it was in for longer. First it started sticking to the base (despite frequent stirring) and following your low/medium temp guide to a T. Then it seems the better separated from the entire mixture! You can do either to be honest generally leaving to thaw is best, but if you like them warm and gooey, reheating is great! I waited for it to go brown and fudge like but it just set so hard? Hi Jane could I swap the rolos for chopped twix? Oooh I would say you would get a better result with a ganache! Add in the frozen Rolos and chocolate chips and fold in (You can reserve a small handful to sprinkle on the top if you want).
