Back then, I used to get personal responses from their founder, Curt, even on weekends. Call me back or write me back after reading my messages requesting help. We often have many thousands of dollars in these systems and the ability to see the tank when we are away, is pretty important . I wouldn't get too excited, at some point the Classic will eventually become obsolete hardware and software wise. I followed up immediately stating my firmware was updated and got no response.
OH and apex doesn't even let you set amp- based alarms anyway. After much deliberation, I finally was looking into buying some APEX products and this is taking me back to where I was. If that does not power it up than the Apex Base Unit is experiencing some issues. We offer full engineering support and work with the best and most updated software programs for design SolidWorks and Mastercam. I found it to be obtuse programming some seemingly simple things, but this has gotten better with Fusion. It did not power up with plug you suggested.
Controller screen - Solid blue and does not respond to buttons. This I believe would dovetail into Apple HomeKit Integration and SmartThings Integration. If you wanted it to answer the front door for you it can actually do that, you just have to write the code. (The one I got from Quantum Reefs was off of their frag tank. My entire reef is setup to depend on your Apex controller and you don't have any sense of urgency to help me find a solution. A few weeks after I installed it and programmed it, the status lights started acting strange and I couldn't connect to the unit. The Apex acting funny started about the same time we had a big electrical storm, so I figured it was somehow connected to this storm. I can't believe they made it look so ugly.. I didn't tell you about my MACNA experience with Apex. Reef Keeping, Anything IT related, Golf, Mercedes Diesels, All about family. We have many thousands of customers that would immediately buy two cameras when this is done and with my recommendation.

I don't understand how a company that supplies a life support system for our animals could be so ignorant. Worse case, someone would just have view-only access to my video feed if Wyze implements HLS the way I am asking for it. Lucky for me I had setup my Fallbacks all correctly so I didn't have a disaster.
Now currently WYZE cant be integrated into the Dashboard for the controller.

I saw few other companies are starting to sell similar products as well at Macna. Ill admit I dont understand the undertaking it would be for Wyze to implement this and make it happen, but I imagine something in the application will allow me to toggle a switch to activate HLS streaming and then allow me to customize an HTTP(s) URL that I can use or share with others so they can see a live view of what my Wyze cam sees. And we have tens of thousands of customers.
There is NO one device, manufacturer etc etc that provides this, but WYZE comes up often I the forums because its a less expensive, quality camera. Well looks like I can unfortunately revive this thread. I have never even received a phone call response.
I'll stick with my gold system. I dont know that they understand how big this user base is. The reef-keepers do amazing stuff to automate everything. I am completely blown away by this. I have a gold that I bought last week but haven't opened yet . The problem now is my dosers and reactors have been off for a while and a few of my corals are starting to die. You could even control automatic dosing based on timing or parameters. neptune stamp catalog I felt obligated to share my experience with my fellow reefers. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I would "pay to play" for certain features. I don't think there is anyreason to buy something you know will break. It's possible that's the key difference here. They do have a great product.
This would probably really only work with a standard in place like the so-called "Internet of Things -Aquarium" where wireless connections are using bluetooth or wifi or something, and not proprietary RF modules and the like. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. Please consider this upgrade to Wyze. A hardwired connection between computer to router and router to Apex is required.
I made it clear my Apex was not working and it was brand new. 21 Engel Injection Molding Machines (28 to 300 Ton Capacity), 9 new Rotary Engel Presses (85 Ton Capacity), Rotary and Horizontal Molding, Precision Insert Molding, Full Part Automation, Electric Testing, Hipot Testing, Welding. Im sticking with "classic". I got mine at the $100 off price therefore the credit is NOT available for me. getting our Wyze cam feed on the dashboard would allow us to view our tank while changes are being made. I told them I would see them at MACNA. I hope that you're back and running with your unit soon, and that it'll be smooth sailing afterwards. Love Wyze cams and would be fantastic if there was a way to integrate them. $250? I bought an Apex Gold system from Quantum Reefs. This all began on Friday morning, when I called them. By Yeah thats how it is observed now. I was reluctant to make the change, but I did. Neptune never did write me back. Links below. The new energy bar sold separately is $250. Anytime someoneneeds help they know they can call me and I will come through for them and I will never complain. Bluefish is awesome for lights at the moment. With simply providing a way to access the stream through an API, I would guess many thousands of cameras would be sold within a few months, but more importantly, a great number of these users are already automation junkies and would be introduced to the Wyze ecosystem and all the other products. What a shame with the money you spend on their products Makes you question the future purchase. At least they found the issue and have admitted to having bad hardware. Any other alternatives? When I switched from a ReefKeeper over to the Apex I had a lot of choices, but I went with what everyone in my local reef club was using.
