I would definitely recomment to visit Chiesa Madonna della Rocca (in the evening)! A real microcosm of the whole island, Taormina has some of the best of Sicily's sights: The beach is about 2kms below the town, and the coastline is dotted with seaside resorts in between long sandy stretches, broken up by rocky coves. A large building with a towering, glassy lobby, what it lacks in local charm it more than makes up for it with switched-on, 24-hour service and unpretentious, modern rooms. At the other end of the Corso is the Piazza del Duomo, complete with a 13th century cathedral as well as impressive courtyards and fountains. Your current currency is U.S. Dollar, Choose your language. Had a brilliant last two days at the Park Taormina hotel out of a 9 day Sicily adventure and it was a lovely end to our holiday.
Spacious rooms are light and contemporary with polished wooden floors, plenty of glass and whitewashed walls. I also loved that the air conditioner was already on, when we entered the room. It features a swimming pool, uniquely styled rooms and free parking. Very friendly and helpful staff and great location! This villa is no exception, sitting right on the waterfront in Taormina, with manicured gardens spilling down to the sea. Make sure to visit the Greco Theater with a great view of Mt. Location was great, we got a taxi from the train station to the hotel, cost 20 Euros, but once there we could walk to the centre and also to landmarks like the Theatro!! Amazing stay :).
