We ended up paying additional $200 to get private transportation in order to get to the airport. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The pesto pasta is one to to remember. We sat and ate it looking out to the palms from the dining room. Its not associated with the resort so you have to pay to drink and eat, but its very resonably priced. We would love to come back and highly recommend Villa Pescadores!

In retrospect, I would have rather spent my morning walking the beach or having breakfast at the beach club. With all that spare cash jangling around in your pocket, why not stay for a few more nights and explore even more? The city center is at walking distance, and you'll easily walk to all the restaurants and the boulevard. we complained and they said they could move us into the correct room tomorrow. We went with another couple and each stayed in the Oceanfront Suites (we were above them, they were ground level). Those who like trying local foods might want to consider staying at 2022 Travelscape LLC, an Expedia Group Company. Our room- 2202 first level was absolutely gorgeous, it seemed to be recently updated, and had somewhat modern feel to it. Youre walking through sand to get to your room and yes, theres a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. If you can see pass the construction youll be fine, if construction bothers you stay away. Parking was free and convenient. The food - The main buffet restaurant had a good selection of tasty food.

We didn't visit the party beach clubs at all, but I would imagine Villa Pescadores is more private and quieter than most of those. This just comes with the location. There were some instances where they will talk crap about you in Spanish( assuming you cant understand them) but not a big deal. I can only warmly recommend . We received our complimentary teas every morning, and even when we couldnt wake up, they left our tea in front of our door so we had a nice pick me up before we headed down for breakfast.
